Here's another taster for you of the outfits coming for your Christmas shopping, These Annabell outfits should wow the little girl they're intended for, they are a little higher in price than usual but I havn't skimped on the trims and laces, motifs etc., only the best for my customers!, but unfortunately not skimping does add a bit to the price, the coloured broderie anglaise for instance which I found whilst shopping yesterday, and have never been able to find before, usually only white and cream is available, but it actually cost three times more than the white at £3.25 per metre, and on this particualer outfit took well over a metre! So as you can see it all adds to the overall price, however if you read my gueat book you will see that customers are very satisfied with the finish of my dolls clothes. If there is anything you would like to find in my shop, or indeed just want to leave a comment in here without buying, please feel free, would love to here from you , and it makes my day a little more interesting  ;o) another taster

Hello all, I havn't posted anything for a while as I have been in the throes of a 'fluey cold 'for a while now and not been able to do much sewing or photgraphy.  Been on the computer tho, keeping abreast of anything new on the scenes through blogs, craft forums and the like.
Today feeling a little better at times, so I thought I'd give you a taste of things to come included in the new batch of items that I will be listing in the shop in time for Cristmas shopping.
I find when looking around at other doll's clothes  there are never many boy's things listed, by that I mean clothes to suit the boy dolls, so I have made this perky little outfit, a bit different from the usual, to fit Baby born boy, he looks like he's just stepped from an old fashioned story book, doesn't he? Look out for it coming to the shop soon! Along with other outfits to help you with your Christmas shopping.

After completing the Halloween outfits last week I'm now onto winter outfits such as winter coats, outfits etc.  I aim to make dressy stylish little coats and hats for American Girl and similar sized dolls, and duffle coats for Annabell and Baby Born dolls, which were  so popular last year that I was overrun with custom orders for them ! I always finish the garments as If I was making a coat for a person, with lined hoods and taped collars , so that all seams are well finished or tucked in. setting collar
sewing the braiding I like to handsew delicate trimming and braids so that I get them exactly where I want them to go, and find it is worth the extra time and fuss to see the finished article looking just right!
